Activities

Table Tennis is for anyone who wishes to come along, £1.50 a session and is held at Jubilee Hall in the main hall every Monday and Thursday 10am til 12pm.

Over 55's at Jubilee Hall every Tuesday 1pm till 3pm, just £1.50 a session, come along and chatter, play cards /dominos, table tennis or enjoy the company.

Knit and Knatter is held every Thursday evening 6.30pm til 9pm, £3.00 per session includes refreshments/biscuits, anyone welcome beginners or experienced, come and share ideas or learn new techniques.

For Crafty people we have a Craft session every Tuesday 12pm til 2pm £3.00 per person, bring along any projects you are doing or swap ideas and techniques with others. Refreshments available.

Wilton Dance Studios
Monday 1-3pm Line Dancing, a class with at least some experience. A few new dances taught and a chance to dance old favourites £4 per class term time only.


Monday 8.30pm -9.30pm New Beginneers Ballroom, suitable for anyone with little or no experience. A chance to learn Waltz- Quickstep- Rumba and Cha Cha £50 per couple for 4 classes.


Monday 6-7pm New Beginners Salsa, suitable for anyone with little or no experience, A fun class to learn some Salsa, get some exercise and have a laugh, £25 each for 4 classes,

We have a Social Line Dance once a month on a Saturday evening  7.30pm til 10pm  watch our website for dates etc.

LKC Junior Ninjas, this is held in the main hall 6pm till 9pm and is for anyone aged 4+. Seesions are £4.50 per seesion and the first session is free. 

Thursday evenings we have Kung Fu Club, this is held in the main hall 7pm til 9pm for age 14 + please come along on the night or contact Sifu Dave Sharples email : dewsburyandwakefieldkungfu@gmail.com for further information.

Friday afternoon 1pm til 3pm we hold a Tea Dance which is for anyone and is £3.50 including afternoon tea.

Sundays, 10.30am-12.00pm, Grace Church Wakefield service

A friendly local Christian church that meets in the main hall with a Sunday school group for primary school aged children in the cafe area. The service is relaxed and not particularly formal. It is ideal for anyone new to or coming back to the Christian faith, or who simply wish to see what's going on. People with children who make a noise are especially welcome! At the heart of the service is clear explanation of a passage from the Bible applied to our modern world and lives. Free refreshments are available. Private functions can be held here, discuss with staff what you require, we can cater for Weddings, Birthdays, Funerals,
